Accessing Our Service

Whether you’re referring yourself or being supported by someone else, here’s how you can access the service.

Self referral

You can complete the online self referral form yourself at any time. Simply select Employment Support as the service you would like to access when filling it in.

Professional referrals

If you’re a GP, support worker, or healthcare professional, you can refer someone directly by completing the online professional referral form.

Once you have been referred from Talking Therapies, an Employment Advisor will then contact you to discuss your employment goals and the support you would like to receive.

What happens next after my referral is sent?

After you submit the form, you will receive an email from Talking Therapies to arrange an assessment appointment. During this appointment patients can mention that they want to access Employment Support Services.

At this point the Talking Therapies team will pass your details on to our Employment Support Team who will contact you directly.

The referral process

If you’re thinking about referring yourself but aren’t sure what to expect, our self-referral videos are a great place to start. They explain the process in detail, including how to submit your referral, what happens during your assessment, and how to enrol on our well-being courses for continued support.
