How do I receive the support
Support can be offered on a video link, and your Employment Advisor can show you how to do this if you are unsure, we can telephone you or meet face to face if required.
Does this affect me waiting for therapy if I access Employment Support whilst on the waiting list?
If receiving Employment Advisor support whilst on the waiting list for therapy, it does not prevent you from continuing to wait for therapy.
What hours do you work, as I work Monday to Friday 9-5.
Our hours of work are generally Monday to Friday 9-5, however we can work with you to arrange a convenient time on a lunchbreak, before or after work (depending on availability).
We can also support you to speak to your employer if you agree, to see if they are able to offer you time to get Employment Advice support to remain in work, and we will work with you to ensure you receive the support.
How do I access support after I have completed the programme?
Your Employment Advisor will give you guidance on where you can access other services for further support.
What if I need further support in the future?
Patients can come back into therapy if it is needed and access the Employment Advisor support again.
How long will I have to wait to access Employment Support Services?
If you are already receiving support from Talking Therapies, just let them know you are interested in accessing our Employment Service and we will be in touch.
If you are awaiting your assessment from Talking Therapies, you will need to wait until this has taken place before you can access our Employment Support Services. Talking therapies aim to make initial contact on receipt of your referral within 72 hours. Waiting times can vary, but we do our best to keep these to a minimum.
